Oma is a town located at the northeastern tip of Honshu in Aomori Prefecture in the Tohoku Region of Japan. Oma is very famous for the giant tuna pulled from its waters. The best sushi tuna in the world comes from the Oma area. It is also the most expensive tuna, too! From Oma, the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido can be seen easily.
