Colorful Temari balls on the Matsumoto City manhole covers. The colors of the decorative embroidered balls portrayed n the manholes varies. We saw many different color combinations during our visit to this fascinating castle town. Matsumoto Castle is beautiful, and one of the few remaining original castles.
