Hachinohe City(八戸市)

< Hachinohe City, Aomori >
Chrysanthemums decorate most of Hachinohe's manhole covers.  Hachinohe is a port city famous for its abundant seafood.  It is also famous for its Sansha Taisai Festival, billed as "Japan's Biggest Float Festival."  Sansha Taisai is held from July 31 to August 4 every year.  Hachinohe is the northern terminus of the Tohoku Shinkansen (Bullet Train) Line.  In December 2010, the Tohoku Shinkansen Line extension to Aomori City will open.

<青森県八戸市>
八戸は、毎年秋に開催される菊祭りで有名です。
菊は、八戸市民の花であり、市内の菊愛好家が育てた奥州菊や懸崖菊等を展示します。
